Comfort Inn Gilroy

I really enjoyed this place the Reviews had me skeptical but I’m glad I came. When you walk in you do smell a Indian food smell that is strong but the rooms are absolutely amazing and can very remodeled. The staff was polite and the maids do a exceptional job in cleaning the rooms and hotel.

The hotel rooms look renovated. My room was very clean. Laminate flooring, tiled standing shower, the bed was on the firm side (which I prefer). There is a pretty large desk in the room if you need to do some work. Breakfast was standard light fare - yogurt, cereal, danish pastries, fruits, waffles, sliced white bread, jams, and butter, milk, coffee….theres a Denny’s right next to the hotel if you want something heartier. I stayed here while visiting family, would stay here again.

I find some of the negative reviews a bit strange! This is me and my husbands favorite hotel in Gilroy because it is the cleanest, friendliest, and with the best location. The service is top notch, the front desk staff is always accommodating and kind. I have never seen the pool closed and breakfast includes fruit, pastries and coffee. There is a Denny's located right in front and other food options within a minute drive such as Black Bear Diner, McDonald's, In n Out, and Ginger Cafe (these are only some, there are more options). Maybe this is why I don't really care much about the hot breakfast option, what is provided is sufficient. What I most appreciate is the cleanliness. I like that there isn't carpet because carpets get dirty fast and pick up disgusting smells like smoke. I love that this hotel doesn't smell like smoke or old food, and that's owing to the fact that they have laminated flooring. I don't need towel bars or hooks to hang towels, they are neatly folded in the shelving under the sink, and when I need it to dry, I simply hang it over the shower bar. A clean, comfortable and ideally located hotel with friendly staff, this is why I give it five stars. Thank you to the management for being professional and always being sure their guests are taken care of.

Among the two closest motels to Gilroy Premium Outlet, I opted for Comfort Inn Gilroy and am delighted with my decision. The hotel's exterior exudes comfort and warmth. The room's modern design and cleanliness are impressive, with added conveniences like a microwave and coffee maker. Guests can also utilize an ice maker, washer, and dryer near the lobby. Breakfast consists of cooked food and bagels, breads, oats and waffles. Parking is free and readily available.

Good breakfast from 6 to 9 AM. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I needed forks and they happily showed me where I can always find some even after breakfast hours. I'm always happy to be here. The front even has automatic doors which help a lot when I'm carrying too much.

Location is close to a lot of attractions that California has to offer, such as Pinicles and Monterey. The hotel looks to have been remodeled and / or changed to a comfort inn. Our stay was comfortable, and the room we had seemed to be newly remodeled. The beds were just slightly on the harder side than we prefer but were not bad. There was plenty of space for four to not feel cramped. Only two marks for improvement were the fent in the bathroom needs to be added to the clean list to dust now and then. The second is not the hotels fault, but there was no hot breakfast. This was due to supply chain issues according to the staff and the food delivery not getting stock in.

Nicer than what I expected, the check-in staff was friendly, the hardwood floors were a plus. The breakfast could’ve been better and had more options was a decent location.

We have stayed here twice and thought it was a clean room with a comfortable bed (5 pillows) and excellent water pressure in the shower. Bathroom was modern and excellent lighting. Ice machine worked and they provided paper plates and cutlery for our supermarket eats!
